Our Publishing House & Printing Office division is a component of the National Collection - Informatics  - Services Department. This division has a staff consisting of 21 permanent employes. From said 21 permanent employes, 15 persons belongs to Publishing House and 6 ones to Printing Office - Restauring Division. 
   The OSIM Publishing House performs works of publications, multiplication and distribution for both OSIM official publications, and also other editorial works (CD, various booklets, books). The editorial activity is fully computerized. The multiplication, bookbinding, sending, preserving-restauring activities are carried out in an entirely computerised manner. This complex activity of the Publishing House and Printing Office is carried out by a high qualified staff. The workers concerned with preserving-restauring activity have been trained and authorized by the Romanian Record Office. The activity for restauring documents is carried out at the multiplication - bookbinding - preserving-restauring workshop. The restored documents are scanned and kept at OSIM archives, while the electronic copies are kept within the internal databases, as a PDF format.
    The entire process of completing the index base and document base is carried out exclusively by the staff of the Publishing House - Printing Office division.
